Administrative Assistant, Melbourne

FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Hours per week: 20, Part-time

Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support to the Melbourne Campus ministry team.
Essential Job Requirements
· Support Executive Administrative Assistant and ministry team as assigned
· Handle phone inquires, answer and redirect web inquires to appropriate ministries
· Assist with group management such as room schedules and assignments, communicate with Group/Discipleship Pastor and Group Leaders regarding upcoming semesters, supplies and materials, input of supported group information into Ministry Platform
· Support Onboarding, Reception, Counseling, Memorial Services as needed
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
· Detail-oriented mindset, exhibit problem-solving and good customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task and have disciplined time management skills
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of all personal information
· Proficient knowledge and use in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.), as well as Social Media and Database management
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication, and good customer service skills
· The ability to work efficiently and effectively in team situations is critical, as well as the ability to work independently (Proverbs 16:3)
· Social perceptiveness—being aware of diverse personalities and having Godly discernment to react and respond to situations as needed (Philippians 2:4)
