Calvary Women's Assistant
Reports to: Director, Calvary Women FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Hours per week: 15 hours, Part-Time (Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-2pm) Campus: Melbourne

Job Summary: Are you looking for a fun and active way to serve the Lord? Do you enjoy helping women grow and learn about the Lord? This position helps to oversee women at Calvary Chapel Melbourne through various ministries and encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. It also provides opportunities for them to become actively involved at CCM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Pray regularly for the women of the church (1 Thessalonians 5:11) • Work with the Director of Calvary Women and Women’s Core Leadership to identify discipleship strategies and outreach opportunities for the women who call CCM home • Help develop and coordinate events, groups, retreats and conferences for the women of the church • Serve, encourage, and disciple women through the love of Christ (Acts 20:28) • Prepare for and help lead Melbourne Women’s Core Leadership Team meetings • Assist in overseeing budget and keep track of expenditures • Perform administrative assignments from the Director by taking Minutes at meetings as requested, coordinating and scheduling meetings, submitting event request forms, submitting accounting receipts, post-event statistics, ordering supplies as needed for groups and events, submit insurance approvals, event point of contact, assisting group leaders with room and tech support, submitting print requests, working with administrative team to reserve group rooms and maintain the website listings, submitted miscellaneous helpdesk tickets (set-up, sound, trainings), etc. • Serve at specific ministries as Calvary Women Liaison (1 Peter 5:2) • Assist in development of outreach events to bring unchurched women to CCM (Matthew 28:19) • Schedule one-on-one meetings/discipleship with women and direct them to appropriate CCM Ministry as needed • Provide vision and leadership in planning campus-wide events and programs (Luke 14:28) • Function as a productive part of the church staff and regularly attend staff meetings • Help create and oversee opportunities for women like Onsite and Offsite Groups, Leadership Development, Discipleship, Prayer, and Retreats • Help maintain social media channel • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies: • Able to mentor and teach others, and lead young women to grow closer to Christ through godly character and wisdom of the Scriptures (Titus 2:4-5) • Ability to resolve conflict within ministry area of responsibilities • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation • 2-3 years of experience in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel & Publisher • Ability to multitask while staying responsive to the needs of women at CCM • Leadership and public speaking abilities (1 Peter 4:10) • A willingness to participate in team building, team logistics, and leadership • A proven record of follow-through on assignments • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and adaptability to change (Proverbs 21:23)
