Seeking a Home Companion in Yorkville

Your client will be a 68 year old man who is looking for social companionship.

Mr. G is intelligent, pleasant, has a great sense of humor and is physically healthy and active. He enjoys biking, walking, movies, and card games. He has mild dementia which prohibits him from driving himself to the places he enjoys. He does not need any physical assistance, just someone to take him on outings and help him find enjoyable ways to spend his time. Hours: 3 days per week/6-8 hours per day. (Can be somewhat flexible on this)

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience spending time with people with dementia or mild brain injuries

Is physically active/enjoys biking and activities

Has a safe, reliable car

Is fun and personable. Good at creating a fun atmosphere and encouraging involvement.

Is kind and compassionate, with a good sense of humor.

$20. per hour and expenses reimbursed.
