    CANDIDATE ACQUISITION/SCHEDULING ASSISTANT

    FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Under general supervision, the Candidate Acquisition/Scheduling Assistant performs technical administrative support for the employee recruiting and selection process. Is responsible for adhering to the recruiting process and all necessary documentation, follow-up, and regular/consistent communication with potential candidates and managers according to the protocols set forth. In addition to recruiting, is responsible for managing and publishing weekly schedules for the entire dental office operation while working with the managers. Results and services of position may impact the short-term direction, operations and/or financial status of the dental office through staffing. Decisions made have an impact on compliance, resources, and service as well as may impact public image.

    SUPERVISION

    This position has no supervisory responsibility.

    BDG Candidate Acquisition Assistant will support compliance-related items by:

    • Following internal procedures and external regulations.
    • Successfully completing regulatory training requirements periodically.
    • Working collaboratively in all facets of position to meet position requirements and support

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinates job posting on the website and other online forums as specified by BDG recruiting protocols.
    • Reviews resumes based on criteria set forth for the specified position(s).
    • Performs telephone interviews and screenings.
    • Digitally (electronically) documents and keeps records of recruiting/hiring process.
    • Ability to correspond professionally via email and strong use of Google Calendar functions.
    • Effectively and consistently maintains strong, professional, and courteous communication with potential candidates, existing staff, trainers, hiring managers, and management.
    • Assists the regional managers with scheduling all dental office employees weekly
    • Organizes/Publishes weekly schedule for 150+ employees weekly.
    • Helps Regional Managers with moving around schedule daily based on call outs.
    • Answers team member's phone calls mornings and nights on company-provided cell phone
    • Maintains constant communication with Regional Managers
    • Assists Regional Managers with miscellaneous admin functions
    • Maintains high standards of expectations in the recruiting process and cautions against taking short-cuts on essential tasks.
    • Maintains confidentiality of information.
    • Always Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
    • Performs all other related duties, as assigned. May be requested to assist with special projects from time to time.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (INDUSTRY, WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION)

    • High School Diploma (HSD). Previous experience in an office or administrative position
    • Previous Recruitment Position preferred

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    • Previous HRIS software preferred. Microsoft Excel and use of Google Calendar required.
    • Unexpired State Driver's License.

    OTHER

    • Regular attendance is required including varied hours. At times, individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to consult Supervisor when necessary. 
    • Overtime requires approval by Supervisor.
    • Schedules subject to change.
