We are currently hiring a Business Development Specialist to work in our office in Sydney.

As a Business Development Specialist in the Sydney Sales Team, you will be working with leaders in the industry who have a wealth of experience. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting new business opportunities for AFEX within a defined jurisdiction as part of the AFEX business development team.
The Business Development specialists will also work alongside marketing on project driven campaigns and will be responsible for initial market research within the SME business sector, as part of a multi-pronged outreach approach with the goal of establishing new business leads for foreign exchange solutions.
The ability to communicate, research and qualify prospective clients, as well as demonstrate the use of sales and marketing skills with prospective companies over the phone is essential to success in this position.

Whilst financial services experience is highly regarded, it is not essential.
Working as part of the sales team, you will be comfortable speaking on the phone with C-level executives. In addition, be someone who is looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your suggestions and recommendations are valued in a team-based setting.
This role would suit someone who has a good understanding of the finance industry and is looking for an entry level Business Development position with scope for future development for the right person.
