We offer a comprehensive range of global payment and foreign exchange services, including foreign currency drafts, wire transfers, risk management tools with designated Account Executives. We can handle every aspect of a client’s foreign payment needs, from risk consultation to transaction execution.

    We are currently hiring for a Client Manager/ Relationship Manager to provide worldwide foreign currency exchange services and cross-border payments services to corporate clients - French market. 

    This role should act as a Brand Ambassador for AFEX, to act in a way that promotes AFEX’s vision: A trusted business partner. All actions and interactions both internally and externally should be executed to underpin and uphold the AFEX core values:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Act as a regular point of contact, interacting with clients on a regular basis through personal visits to the clients workplace, telephone consultations, providing market updates and insight on the impact of market movements in order to deepen relationships
    • Through client management via telephone solicitation: solicit orders, price up the order/trade and execute the order via client instructions.
    • Manage the relationship of assigned AFEX clients and provide excellent customer service.
    • Maintain overall management of a portfolio of client accounts against a monthly revenue target. On a monthly basis meet/exceed revenue and new account targets set by supervisor.
    • Create revenue through open trading deals.
    • Perform on-going analysis on all client portfolios within set KPIs.
    • Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities within the client portfolio by focusing on reactivations and referral opportunities.
    • Act as a regular point of contact, interacting with clients on a regular basis through telephone consultations in order to deepen relationships by providing market updates and insight on the impact of market movements.
    • Work alongside other team members to generate, motivate and support sales team efforts.
    • Work alongside the Business Development Executive and back office staff to resolve potential Compliance, Operation or Credit issues of concern.
    • Work with the Business Development Executive during the client on-boarding process.
    • Absolute adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines. Edit the daily market watch report.
    • Participate in IT testing projects.

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Experience in the field of foreign exchange services.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, professional deportment and the ability to persuade.
    • Strong verbal and written communication ability.
    • Organization, verbal and visual presentation, and a proactive approach to sales.
    • Excellent time management.
    • Insight and experience to protect the company’s commercial priorities and positively drive client relationship.
    • Extreme attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data.
    • Fluent french mandatory 
    • Good command of German mandatory
