  • Responsibilities

    Cambridge International Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Program Manager in Stuttgart, Germany. The Program Manager is responsible for a multi-functional team of technical experts supporting intelligence collection, evaluation, and dissemination. Qualified candidates must have an active DOD SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET/SCI preferred.

    Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Provides program technical direction with respect to hardware and software definition, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance for the specific customer site
    • Identifies future technical requirements
    • Develops strategies to provide the required technical related resources in a timely manner in order to meet the DoD mission
    • Provides guidance and advice on the design, development, fielding, and maintenance of telecommunication and weapon systems
    • Represents the project at senior level technical briefings
    • Identifies technical personnel requirements for new program positions
    • Reviews capabilities of potential new hire technical expert candidates to ensure they meet job requirements
    • Oversees the application of corporate and Government policies and procedures at all program locations
    • Solicits feedback from the top leaders/managers in the customer community to determine the quality of performance, and takes the necessary action to correct any deficiencies

    Required Skills

    • Experience in DoD technology related Program Management, including hardware and software development, test, and deployment.
    • Desired, but not required skills are experience in managing large (>100 people) multi-functional organizations working on DoD projects and interfacing with high-ranking Government and military officials.

    Required Experience

    Master’s Degree in a technical or physical science field and 15+ years’ of experience working with the DoD in a technical capacity, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or physical science field and 18+ years’ of experience with the DoD in a technical capacity, or 21+ years’ working with the DoD in a technical and program/project manager capacity. Must have

    • Prior experience supporting a COCOM or Joint Military Operations Customer
    • Prior military experience is preferred
    • PMP preferred
    • DOD SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET preferred
