    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    This leadership role is accountable for the IT infrastructure in the enterprise. This position is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all internally managed and third-party IT infrastructure and used to support all business process across the enterprise. This individual will have solid technical infrastructure experience, strong project management acumen, excellent vendor management skill, plus a superior, service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations. This individual is also responsible for operational and service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency and agility goals are achieved. As a member of the IT leadership team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise wide IT strategy and ensures its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.

    The Manager of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for managing direct reports and leading the IT Network Operations Team to include Network Operations, Server and System Administration, CyberSecurity, Telecommunications, Desktop Support, IT Help Desk, Mobile Support, IT Asset Management and Business Continuity.  The IT Infrastructure Manager is a hands-on position.  Six years of technical experience and five years of management experience are required.    Global IT Operations is preferred.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Coordinate and plan for the company’s information technology architecture including all aspects of daily operation for both voice and data networks ensuring that systems are up-to-date, operational and functional at all times,  globally.

    • Will supervise and lead team to provide 24x7 global support of critical systems overseeing all staffed shifts

    • Manages planning for resource availability, capacity and scalability of all hardware, software, network and communication systems.

    • Plan, coordinate, implement and manage the company’s information technology cybersecurity architecture. 

    • Installs, implements, configures and monitors equipment and software/firmware for all components of the company LAN, WAN, storage and servers.

    • Ensures IT Systems are continuously available to employees and are kept up-to-date in support of our production and administrative work functions.

    • Coordinates activities of the IT Infrastructure team with the IT Support Services team, Partners with the IT Applications team to ensure smooth functioning of all PC, virtual desktop, and server systems.

    • Manages the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Serves as subject matter expert for disaster recovery and business  continuity strategy and planning. 

    • Develops and reviews disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans. Develops recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets, such as data centers. Serves as the manager and/or coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. 

    • Develops emergency management plans for recovery decision making, communications, and the continuity of critical departmental processes to deal with organizational emergencies.

    • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

    • Creates and Maintains systems documentation.

    • Create, Maintain and report on KPIs for MOS.

    • Leads in identifying and prioritizing remediation efforts for issues.

    • Pursue and define new process improvement opportunities.

    • Fulfill the duties of direct report staffing as needed to meet business needs.

    • Demonstrates leadership skills to help junior staff excel in role.

    • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor direct report staff.

    • Travel to Cambro locations as needed.

    • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.

    • Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.

    • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions. 

    • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect. 

    • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects. 

    • Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.

    • Understands department’s key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.  

    • Other duties as needed or required.

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Fulfill the duties of direct report staffing as needed to meet business needs

    • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Significant experience operating sophisticated technical solutions with a focus on Windows Servers, Windows and Apple Desktops, Servers, Mobile, and Microsoft O365.

    • Hands on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, IPSec VPN tunnels, remote access.

    • Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects. 

    • Hands on experience with VMware, Site Replication Manager (SRM) from VMWare and Veeam.

    • CyberSecurity focused.

    • Success in leveraging both traditional best practices, such as IT service management practices based on ITIL, as well as emerging methods like DevOps that are optimized for agility.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • 6 or more years of experience in IT and business/industry.
    • Three to five years of leadership responsibilities.
    • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
