    Job Description

    The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and analytical support to the Sales Management Team.

    Essential Functions

    • Utilizes Excel and Power BI for advanced data management to create sales reporting and perform sales analysis; including creating pivot tables, charts, and graphs for various types of sales analysis.
    • Data management, web portal support, and marketing support for distributors, e-commerce and retail customers.
    • Creates reporting and presentations for sales managers to support customer presentations, trainings and strategic planning meetings; ability to incorporate Power BI data and convert into Power Point presentations.
    • Creates, manages and maintains customer databases.
    • Provides information and performs general support for our North American Sales Team.
    • Coordinates customer visits and internal meetings.
    • Provides updates and maintenance for internal sales technology programs including Salesforce.com and GDSN.
    • Supports senior sales management team on special projects.
    • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with members of other departments and in cross-functional teams.
    • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
    • Executes each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
    • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
    • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
    • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
    • Follows all department quality standards/criteria. Raises concerns and issues to immediate manager.

    • Understands department’s key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.
    • Other duties as assigned or required.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides support to the sales team by relieving them of administrative work.
    • Support for customer visits, trainings and factory tours including managing travel arrangements. Includes negotiating hotel contracts, managing off-site activities, transportation and logistics. Uses Chatter to update groups on pertinent information for large events including Cambro College and Sales Meetings.
    • Duties may include order processing/entry, price quotations, information input and management, RFP response, product training or other related tasks.
    • Possess a working knowledge of all Cambro products, including proper usage and application.
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

    • Education and/or experience Requires associate’s degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related areas.
    • Language skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Mathematical skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Reasoning ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Communication, both verbal and written Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.   Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Computer skills/proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) and Microsoft Teams.
    • Ability to effectively interact with members of all cross functional departments with the utmost professionalism.
    • Ability to handle heavy workload and changing priorities.
    • Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Education and/or experience Associate’s degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related areas. Experience with Salesforce.com highly desirable.
    • Language skills Strong understanding of the English language both written and verbal.
