FOSTER CARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FOSTER PARENTS!!Camelot is a therapeutic foster care agency who is actively recruiting individuals and families to become licensed foster parents through the State of Tennessee.We are actively recruiting in Hancock, Hawkins, Greene, Washington, Unicoi, Carter, Johnson and Sullivan Counties. We value diversity in our families and strive to create successful placement matches so that our children and youth can thrive in the best environment possible for them.

Basic requirements of a potential foster parents:

Ability to pass an initial medical appraisal by a licensed physician (the appraisal must establish that the parent applicant is physically able to care for children and is free from communicable disease)

Be at least 25 years of age

Rent or Own your own home with space/capacity

Learn and use proven behavioral management skills

Complete and pass DCS required background checks

Comply with licensing standards, guidelines and protocols

Accept support needed to maintain the child’s placement within the resource home

Give without the expectation of immediate returns

Preserve the continuity of the child’s racial, ethnic, and religious beliefs

Accept and care for a child’s emotional, physical, psychological, and behavioral needs

Love and care for children
