    What You'll Be Doing

    The Camera Applications Engineer helps our customers use our cameras to their fullest potential. The incumbent will develop a deep understanding of how our cameras work, and how to tune the cameras to perform well in a wide variety of circumstances. They will work closely with customers to help the camera fit the application, feeding back to our engineering and product management teams what customers like, dislike, and do with our products, so those teams can improve the product offering to better suit our customers' needs. The Camera Applications Engineer will approach every customer with an open mind, ready to learn about their needs, answer their questions, help them leap over hurdles, and accelerate to a game-changing solution.

    What You'll Have

    • A background in software engineering or computer programming, with a 4-year engineering degree preferred.
    • An interest in the newest applications of robotics and technology.
    • Experience in integrating sensors and sensor information in ROS (Robot Operating System) or ROS 2.
    • The ability to write simple scripts in C++ and Python.
    • A valid passport and a willingness to travel (<10%).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    How You'll Stand Out

    • You have experience with cameras, stereo cameras, LiDAR, solid state radar, and ultrasonic sensors.
    • You have experience in a customer-facing role.
    • You have a gregarious personality.
