  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY:

    This individual will be working with all 15 of our different homebuilding divisions and all of our national manufacturers and vendors. Working on analysis projects to find cost saving opportunities within the division or a region. As well as cross comparing the different cost amongst the different divisions and tracking the change in cost over time. Working with our national trade partners to ensure the terms of the contracts are met and any monies owed are collected and allocated to the proper divisions.   

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    REBATE INCOME TRACKING

    • Track rebate payments through ACH and checks
    • Investigate discrepancies in payments vs. invoiced amounts
    • Maintain Master Vendor List
    • Check expiring rebate agreements
    • Track vendor price increases
    • Maintain rebate item pricing with in ERP system

    REBATE INCOME PROJECTIONS

    • Reconcile rebates received each quarter with Corporate Accounting
    • Analyze past rebate income and update projected rebate income for upcoming quarter

    QUARTER-END REPORTING

    • Run base house cost reports for each division, track and analyze cost changes
    • Collect model home discount reports from all divisions that built a model home in that quarter
    • Update the Consolidated Model Home Discount Report
    • Run Division Rebate Summaries and compare to previous quarter
    • Analyze Division Rebate Summaries and discuss discrepancies with division Purchasing VPs
    • Run base house cost reports monthly and quarterly and track cost changes
    • Maintain and update product usage matrix as needed based on rebate summaries and feedback from divisions

     

    MISCELLANEOUS

    • Various special projects and adhoc reporting

    Required Experience

    MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE: 

    Bachelor’s Degree, with 3-5 years’ experience in the homebuilding industry.

    WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Typical office environment.
