Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director, the EVS Supervisor is responsible for providing a clean, safe, hazard free environment for the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. An Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping duties as listed below in assigned patient care and non-patient care areas.
The incumbent must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift due to a rotating schedule, and must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Skills
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent with 2 or more years experience as a supervisor.
Preferred: Associates degree in a related field, 5 or more years experience as a supervisor in a hospital or healthcare setting.
