About the Program Team Intern position

We are seeking a Program Intern, who is full of creative ideas and eager to contribute on a large scale. The intern will gain visibility into the inner workings and aspects of the camping industry, gain valuable hands-on experiences and learn from top to bottom. When the internship is completed you will be ready to enter any fast paced Camp or youth development setting.

Program Intern responsibilities are:

• Helping to manage program areas and activities

• Developing and implementing new program curriculum

• Budget Management

• Working as a liaison and lead for partner groups

• Training in each department at Camp

• Coordinating and attending events

• Supervisory support of the seasonal program staff

Program Intern requirements are:

• Prior camp/youth development experience

• Interest to purse a career in camping

• Outgoing, positive and energetic

• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults

• Self Motivated and able to work independently, as well as a part of a team
