About OZK Vans

OZK Vans designs and builds high-quality custom camper vans for customers who live for adventure, freedom, and life on the road. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, creative problem solving, and building vans that are both functional and beautiful.

As we continue expanding our marketing and build capacity, we are proactively building a bench of skilled van builders who may join the team when upcoming build demand increases.

This is not an immediate opening, but we are actively identifying top candidates now so we can move quickly when the next growth phase begins.

What We're Looking For

We are searching for builders who already understand the van build world and can confidently jump into a build environment.

The ideal candidate:

Has experience building camper vans, skoolies, RV interiors, or similar custom builds

Understands the van life culture and why people choose this lifestyle

Can work independently and solve problems on the fly

Takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail

Is comfortable contributing across multiple phases of a van build

Responsibilities

Depending on project phase, work may include:

Full interior camper van builds

Cabinet installation and fabrication

Electrical system installs (12v/solar)

Plumbing systems

Insulation and paneling

Flooring and finishing work

General fabrication and problem solving

Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship

Qualifications

Experience with van builds, RV builds, or custom vehicle fabrication

Strong carpentry and mechanical skills

Ability to interpret build plans and adapt when needed

Comfortable working independently

Own tools preferred

Valid driver's license

Our Hiring Approach

Because we are building a bench for future expansion, our interview process is designed to help us get to know potential builders before positions open.

Selected candidates will move through:

Initial phone interview with our recruiting team

Shop culture interview with our shop manager and team during our team lunch.

This relaxed conversation allows candidates to meet the team, talk about builds, and see if the culture is a good fit.
