Camper Van Carpenter / Interior Build Specialist

OZK Vans builds custom camper vans designed for adventure, travel, and life on the road. Our builds combine craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and durable materials to create vans that are both functional and comfortable.

As our build capacity expands, we are identifying skilled builders who specialize in interior construction and cabinetry work commonly used in camper van conversions.

This posting is intended to identify candidates for potential future project opportunities as our build schedule grows.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking builders who have strong experience in carpentry, cabinetry, and interior construction.

Many successful candidates come from backgrounds such as:

Cabinet making

Finish carpentry

Tiny home construction

RV manufacturing

Boat interiors

Custom woodworking

Experience with vehicle builds is a plus but not required if the craftsmanship level is strong.

Typical Project Work

Projects may involve:

Interior cabinet installation

Custom drawer and storage systems

Wall paneling and insulation

Flooring installation

Bed platforms and seating systems

Interior trim and finishing work

Builders are expected to deliver clean, precise craftsmanship and maintain high quality standards.

Contractor Requirements

Experience with carpentry, cabinetry, or interior builds

Ability to interpret build plans and measurements

Strong attention to detail

Valid driver’s license

Personal tools preferred

Interview Process

Selected candidates will first participate in a brief phone conversation with our recruiting team.

Some candidates may then be invited to a casual lunch conversation at our Fayetteville shop with our Shop Manager and build team to discuss experience and shop culture.

Because we are currently building a candidate bench for future projects, there may be some time between interviews and project availability.
