    Campus Dean, BSN Nursing Program Leadership Role in Nursing Education

    We are seeking an experienced and visionary Campus Dean for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program to provide strategic leadership and academic oversight at our campus. This is a senior-level nursing education leadership position responsible for the comprehensive site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all nursing program activities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic nursing education leader who is passionate about developing the next generation of nursing professionals while ensuring program excellence and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, manage, and evaluate all nursing program operations to ensure academic excellence and student success
    • Ensure all nursing supplies, simulation equipment, and educational resources meet program goals and accreditation standards
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive data and reports for state boards of nursing and accreditation requirements
    • Maintain accurate student and faculty records in coordination with Human Resources
    • Develop, implement, and update nursing program policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
    • Oversee nursing student admissions process, new student orientation, and retention initiatives
    • Serve as primary liaison between the campus, healthcare community partners, and college administration
    • Manage clinical site partnerships, contracts, and evaluation processes with healthcare facilities
    • Ensure all clinical rotation placements are approved, meet educational objectives, and include proper evaluations
    • Recruit, hire, onboard, and orient qualified nursing faculty members
    • Advocate for and market nursing programs to prospective students and community stakeholders
    • Monitor instructional quality, faculty performance, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives
    • Support comprehensive student advising, academic support services, and student success initiatives
    • Conduct regular Nursing Advisory Committee meetings with healthcare partners and stakeholders

    Required Qualifications

    • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree required
    • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the campus state or ability to obtain license upon hire
    • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in college-level nursing education programs
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience providing direct patient care in healthcare settings
    • Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and change management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders
    • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style with proven team-building abilities
    • Proficient in educational technology, learning management systems, and computer-based resources
    • Knowledge of nursing accreditation standards (CCNE, ACEN) and state board of nursing regulations preferred
    • Experience with curriculum development and assessment in nursing education preferred

    Competitive Compensation:

    • Annual Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000
