Successful candidates will be placed within one of the teams below:
• Business Blueprint & Banking (BB&B) is changing the way small businesses manage their cash flow. Applying automation and real-time data, American Express Business Blueprint provides small businesses a suite of integrated cash-flow technologies from flexible lines of credit, digital business checking accounts, fast payments and predictive business analytics. As a marketer, you will be responsible for growing customer engagement and acquiring new customers.
• Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM) develops the end-to-end strategy and distribution plan to grow our business with both customers and prospects across all commercial business segments. We’re storytellers that analyze data and insights in order to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and engagement with our products.
What type of work can you expect to do in Marketing at American Express?
• Analyze data and realize growth opportunities; to help businesses improve performance and drive growth.
• Be responsible for understanding how our business functions and how it might best be served using new and emerging digital products and/or services.
• Build and track performance indicators to better understand customer behavior.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses to determine feasibility of new opportunities.
• Develop relationships with a variety of internal and external partners.
• Share and leverage best practices and provide consultancy to team.
• Manage end-to-end marketing initiatives or other customer-focused initiatives; develop and implement tests to measure effectiveness.
• Find innovative ways to improve the customer experience.
Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated interest in commercial payments and marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to distill down complex concepts or problems.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to continually learn about the changing payments landscape and emerging technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with and build strong relationships with leaders, colleagues in different time zones, and cross-functional partners to deliver value.
• Independent thinker who’s organized, has great attention to detail, and can multi-task.
• Strong project management skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated resilience, proactive problem solving, ‘can do’ attitude, and optimism in changing circumstances.
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving continuous process improvement.
• Proficient in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Educational & Work Experience Requirements
• Currently enrolled in full-time Graduate degree program.
• Students must have a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
• 1-3 years of previous work experience.

Salary Range: $38.45 to $87.00 hourly + sign-on bonus
The above represents the expected hourly pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
