    THE ROLE

    The Campus Operations Manager role is a key role within our Emerging Talent client solutions. Focused on operational delivery, the Campus Operations Manager is responsible for their team’s achievement of recruitment delivery targets and SLAs, whilst successfully achieving the agreed operational processes and working within budget. The Campus Operations Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with key client contacts and driving client satisfaction. This will be a region-aligned management position and you will operationally manage the delivery teams in your respective region to high levels of service excellence. You will engage with client stakeholders as part of this role so that each team is focused on the activities that will exceed expectation across the client’s hiring community.

    The Campus Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of their team’s development, delivering an effective and efficient service in line with client expectations. The Campus Operations Manager is expected to hold and work to maintain a strong level of specialist/technical expertise (e.g. workforce resource planning, selection strategies, campus recruitment models, best practice in talent pooling and volume hiring)

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    FINANCIAL & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

    • Oversight of operational delivery of aligned Emerging Talent / Campus programs within a specific region and client sector

    • Ensure effective and efficient intern and graduate campaign delivery from multiple geographical sites including managing remote teams that can scale up and down during the course of the year

    • Monitor and achieve account's targets and SLAs (for example, effectiveness, timeliness, candidate quality, delivery of recruitment services & customer satisfaction) as defined by the Regional Senior Manager and Client Director

    • Work closely with the management reporting function, Client Director, Senior Manager and the client to ensure delivery of standard reports within defined timeframes

    • Accurate invoicing and forecasting of service delivery andworking campaigns

    • Lead and monitor the team's delivery of the best practice operating model for the account (including; campaign planning, pipeline management, recruitment delivery, stakeholder management)

    • Identify areas of process improvement, service enhancement and communicate these appropriately

    • Support in rolling out new technology, lead in ensuring team training and changes to process are reflected in a governed change management process

    CLIENT FOCUS

    • Drive team activities and focus to ensure that customer satisfaction (hiring managers, client stakeholders, candidates, and suppliers) is a key consideration at all times

    • Understand and consult on client's strategy objectives of graduate campaigns and ensure that this is reflected in the attraction strategy and selection process

    • Consult client on best-practice selection and recruitment

    • Develop and maintain pro-active and constructive relationships with clients by demonstrating an understanding of the business, the associated requirements and set expectations accordingly

    • Define reporting in line with contractual obligations and deliver management information to senior internal and external client stakeholders within business area

    • Delivery against continuous improvement projects and client specific projects e.g. cost saving projects

    • Where applicable liaise with client contacts to develop and maintain recruitment plans, attraction, and sourcing strategies as well as organizational structures

    TEAM

    • Understands AMS people are a key market differentiator and is genuinely committed to the development of direct reports and their team in accordance with the AMS charter

    • Manage a team (e.g., Resource Specialists, Principal Resource Specialists) to achieve delivery targets and contractual SLAs by providing objectives, direction, and continual feedback on progress

    • Build effective communication channels and mechanisms between the clients hiring managers and the Client Services team

    • Work closely with the Principal Client Services Manager and Head of Client Services to help define the type and level of resources required to effectively achieve delivery targets based on anticipated volumes of requirements.

    STRATEGY

    • Working closely with Resourcing Communications to deploy effective recruitment delivery and attraction strategies, using all sourcing channels effectively, managing multiple campaigns

    • Keep abreast of market intelligence and industry trends (e.g., new technology, recruitment metrics, legislative changes)

    • Hold sound knowledge of recruitment model options and design in order to promote benefits of RPO solution

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Campus recruitment experience

    • Proven track-record managing a team

    • Experience of presenting to senior client stakeholders (eg., resourcing managers) and gained agreement to course of action

    • Experience of developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes (i.e. decreased time to hire, increased quality of hire)

    • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment

    • Ability to liaise with and influence all levels of management to agree a change of direction or new process

    • Undertaken senior recruitment or search functions at an agency or in-house recruitment center and placed executives or senior staff (For graduate positions this experience must be aligned to volume or graduate recruitment)

    • Experience in optimizing and leading other in the use of in-house recruitment technology and use of reporting functionality

    • Experience working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment

    • Experienced at producing business orientated management information and interpreting this to draw conclusions / make recommendations

    • Market intelligence and knowledge of global and subject matter expertise of local recruitment practices and employment market trends
