TITLE: Campus Youth Director
DEPARTMENT: Youth CAMPUS: East Bay
HOURS: Part-Time (16-20)
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
To serve the vision of The Fathers House Youth by way of student life, development, and pastoral care.
QUALIFICATIONS (at the time of hire)
· Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on student ministry experience (preferred)
· Effective ministry leadership.
· Consistent involvement with the shepherding needs of students.
· Systematic team building and leadership development.
· Ability to communicate vision.
· Student ministry health assessment, analysis, and restructuring.
· Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed.
· Leadership and administrative experience
· Must be energetic and able to stand or sit for lengths of time as needed
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
· Reports directly to Pastor Jon & Pastor Shane
· Supervises: Volunteers & Youth Lead team
· Communicates pertinent information to Parents
RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal duties include:
· Meet and check in with leaders weekly
· Read and run background checks for new leaders
· Interview and onboard new youth leaders
· Keep communication clear with parents and guardians about upcoming events and activities
· Plan and execute a weekly youth gathering at TFH Eastbay Campus.
· Plan and participate in getting Eastbay students to quarterly United Rally nights.
· Act as liaison for students and families that attend TFH Eastbay on Sundays working to get them integrated into the Wednesday Youth Gathering.
· Build teams that involve students and empower them as leaders.
· Actively participating in social media regularly for students and parents to stay connected to
student services.
· Relationally serve students' pastoral care needs and create personal growth plans for students to receive and or experience healing, restoration, deliverance, freedom, and the process of redemption.
· Liaison for all Small Group systems and structures implemented by TFH Youth Staff.
· Provide ongoing youth ministry training for leaders and Students placed in leadership positions
· Take on responsibility for pastoral care needs.
· Organize and oversee Eastbay participation in Rally Conference and Youth Camp.
· Oversee and manage the youth ministry budget, demonstrating a strong ability to allocate resources wisely and align financial decisions with the ministry's mission and objectives.
