The TECHNICAL ENGINEER’S primary responsibility is to support customer requirements within the scope of Statement Processing, Data Processing, order fulfillment, and website fulfillment. The Technical Sales Engineer supports the external Sales organization with new customer setup and implementation projects requiring a deep understanding of services and technology. Additionally, the Technical Sales Engineer supports ongoing customer jobs and the Internal Sales organization by preparing daily work orders generated out of the platform as well as trouble shooting jobs and supporting customer inquiries and changes.

The TECHNICAL ENGINEER works for the VP. Technology and Security and acts as technical liaison between Technology, business operations, and third-party service and software providers. In this capacity the Technical Sales Engineering provides subject matter expertise and input to the VP. Technology and Security for the continued growth of the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Computer Science
• 5 + years in Customer Support or Technical Sales  
• Sales experience in a B2B environment preferred 
• Ability to learn quickly, be highly detailed, and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
• Familiar with Software Development methodology and controls
• Experience with Testing & Debugging
• Use of advanced Text Editor (Notepad++ or Similar)
• Demonstrate high proficiency in written and verbal communication as well as soliciting/clarifying technical requirements with non-technical persons. Must be equally comfortable working with business and technical people.
• Technically skilled and proficient with web based and client-side application development as well as technologies like Jscape (SFTP) and file delivery, Microsoft SQL Server and Scripting, programming in C#, Windows Batch files, Web development including CSS, HTML, ActivePerl, cPanel, WordPress, and Visual Basic. You must also be able to accurately and efficiently process, transform, and manage multiple large data sets

• Troubleshooting 3rd Party Software & Tools
• Image Manipulation & Editing
• Graphic design including Web design
• Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Use of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Distiller)

COMPENSATION: $25/hr+ DOE AVAILABILITY: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
