    Job Description

    WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

    • Support and proactively contribute to the strategic development and execution of Communications plans and initiatives
    • Lead in drafting Communications materials including pitches, media alerts, fact sheets, press releases and executive interviews
    • Support the planning, organization and execution of all Communications and Marketing related events and activations, including US store openings, seasonal media previews and press trips
    • Cultivate new and nurture existing relationships with media through consistent (virtual and in-person) hosting initiatives, with a key focus on regional titles in priority cities
    • Assist with managing day to day communication with the US Consumer PR agency, specifically overseeing “Always On” pitch efforts
    • Manage, track and coordinate media sample inventory, supporting all inbound and proactive media requests and opportunities, including those facilitated through our agency
    • Manage US Communications editorial clippings and metrics, for monthly and annual coverage reports
    • Assist with invoicing and project budget management
    • Assist with the Global Affiliate program as a representative for the US Market
    • Coordinate and oversee Communications related messengers, courier services and shipping

     

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Media Relations and/or any related field, bonus points for agency experience
    • University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism
    • Demonstrated experience and working relationships with media in the United States
    • Exceptional communicator with superior journalistic writing skills, as well as articulate verbal communication skills
    • Understanding and knowledge of the US media landscape across all mediums, including broadcast, print, digital and social
    • Energetic, agile, collaborative, and proactive in bringing forward actionable ideas
    • Extremely detail oriented and strong organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple/changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Understanding and appreciation for outdoor and luxury fashion apparel brands

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Hybrid working environment
    • Ability to travel 25%
