    Job Description

    The E-commerce Manager, Site Merchandising is responsible for optimizing the canadagoose.com site experience in NA. This individual is responsible for managing and creating the pre-purchase customer journey through his/her vision, research, planning, and ongoing partnerships with key stakeholders. They will partner closely with internal stakeholders to develop personalized customer journeys for client segments, driving conversion through a/b testing and merchandising efficiencies. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing site reporting and KPIs, helping Canada Goose better understand how customers interact with the website. They will also measure success on e-commerce product and campaign launches, understanding the effects of these innovations on consumer behavior.

    The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity, agility and analytic talent to identify digital/ retail trends, synthesize information from multiple touch points and create business solutions in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment that delivers a best-in-class luxury digital commerce experience.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    PRODUCT/MERCHANDISING

    • Implements online merchandising strategies, focusing on year-on-year sales growth, conversion, and engagement. Source and implement merchandising tools to optimize the site experience in partnership with the Director of E-commerce
    • Lead collaboration with internal teams to bring storytelling to the Canada Goose website while supporting campaigns, collaborations, and special projects
    • Work in close partnership with Marketing and E-commerce Product to enhance eCommerce functionality and site creative opportunities; help roadmap and project plan, providing business cases as needed
    • Executes the selection of product featured across the site experience based on inventory, performance, and customer mindset including all marketing/content placements. Partner in key product page presentations (mood boards, category storytelling, content slots, etc.)
    • Own personalization on the site, developing unique customer journeys through client segmentation and a/b testing on the site that drive conversion, both online and in-store
    • Analyze product merchandising strategies through relevant KPIs and recommend changes if needed

    ANALYTICS/DIGITAL MARKETING

    • Identify opportunities and implement optimizations which drive conversion and enhance customer experience

    • Understand and support digital marketing practices to optimize all digital marketing channels, including Social, Search, Display, and Affiliate

    • Partner with Digital Marketing on innovations that drive channel growth

    • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly digital marketing performance to find opportunities

    • Develop a deep understanding of how the customer interacts and converts on the site

    • Analyze and report on product conversion, sell-through and return rates

    • Initiate projects and strategies to improve site experience through advanced analytics and competitive review

    BUSINESS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Work directly with the product team in the creation of new features and functions that provide value-added services to the customer support teams

    • Leverage data sources from web analytics, customer research, UX research, vendor partners, and industry reports to improve customer satisfaction constantly

    • Manage 3rd party site experience platforms, such as email pop-ups, personalization, UGC, etc.

    • Develop AB testing and personalization roadmaps

     

    LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU:

    • 5+ years of e-commerce merchandising
    • Minimum 3 years of supervisory / manager experience
    • Working knowledge, and experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, other Sales Force Products, Salsify (PIM)
    • Proven track record in workflow optimization
    • Data Analysis, experience with Google Analytics, BI tools, Core Metrics or Omniture an asset
    • Understanding of E-commerce, Retail, and CX best practices
