    Job Description

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Manager, Marketing Analytics is responsible for the North American regional creation of actionable customer insights, customer reporting, and measurement. They will support the day-to-day functions of the business through detailed reporting and forming intelligent and accessible insights that promote data driven decision making. They will advance Canada Goose’s knowledge of the customer and quantify the impact of our efforts

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

    ANALYTICS, CRM + DATA

    • Dive deep into data to proactively identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities to provide actionable insights and identify new opportunities
    • Serve as a key resource for understanding the customer journey as it relates to marketing/product and own segmentation of database to optimize marketing efforts
    • Analyze data identifying trends and patterns related to guest segments, marketing performance, web analytics, and user experience
    • Help build reporting framework to understand consumer pathways on the site and shopping behavior
    • Help expand website personalization efforts with strategic customer segmentation analyses and insights
    • Work in partnership with Merchandising team to design A/B and multivariate tests. Develop test plans, define a hypothesis and relevant success metrics, analyze and transform raw data into actionable insights, and distribute test results to stakeholders.
    • Work with the product and growth teams to identify data gaps and new opportunities for data collection, ensuring data validation and quality assurance
    • Develop clear presentations and storytelling based on data

    DIGITAL MARKETING

    • Monitor performance trends with channel managers and deliver recommendations on channel and spend optimization
    • Work with regional marketing teams to understand performance marketing spend and the effects on the business
    • Understand and help forecast complex channel traffic sessions and revenue
    • Analyze data from paid non brand and brand search strategy, and paid social strategy

    BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND PROBLEM SOLVING

    • Partner with the Sr. Director of Ecommerce to develop and share performance overviews outlining opportunities and risks and work with partners to identify tactics to address these trends 
    • Support in developing and presenting product and customer recaps to North American leadership team and global counterparts, highlighting learnings and informing recommendations for future pivots
    • Support think-tank-based gathering of data and delivery of insights

     

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU:

    • Degree or Diploma in Business/Computer Science/Math or relevant experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital analytics, including experience with Google Analytics
    • Extensive experience in data management within marketing (digital, email, search, social media, etc.)
    • Experience with the following tools: Google Analytics, Acquia CDP, IBM Cognos Analytics, Salesforce Commerce Cloud Demandware
    • Experience with visualization software (Google Data Studio, PowerBI, AnswerRocket, or Tableau)
    • Ability to translate data into information via various communication techniques
    • Creative problem solver with a willingness to take on challenges in unfamiliar territories
    • Neutral/unbiased view of data and ability to objectively offer guidance with context
    • High attention to detail and time management 
    • Solid understanding of Ecommerce best practices

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Hybrid Working Environment
    • Up to 10% of travel required
