CANCELMO CPA, A WELL ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTING FIRM IS SEEKING A TAX SEASON TAX PREPARER TO JOIN OUR TEAM FOR JANUARY START.

ACCOUNTANT/ TAX PREPARER JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepare individual and small business tax returns, assist with tax planning, assist with dealing the IRS and state tax agencies notices.

Our small but growing accounting firm is looking for a dedicated Accountant/Tax Preparer to handle client-facing duties. When our clients call or walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organization skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform accounting and tax preparation projects
• Manage federal and state tax filings for clients
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain, clean and organize their area

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years prior experience
• Graduation from High School, some college preferable
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational and ability to prioritize work flow according to immediate demands in a fast-paced environment
