Job Description

At this time, Candid is recruiting for a Software Engineer skilled in C# to support our photo management software.

The developer will be working with a team of engineering professionals redesigning/upgrading the software that is used by photographers nationally. The developer will participate in all phases of development of application software to include architecture, design, implementation, debugging, validation, and verification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing new web-based applications with a team according to prescribed standards and guidelines. These applications will support our national photographer network.
• Developing applications to support our manufacturing of photographic products.
• Taking existing legacy applications and re-writing them into ASP.NET and C# web based applications.
• Work closely with other software developers and QA testers, testing web applications and ensuring user interfaces meet standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-6 years of C# programming experience in a .NET framework
• Proficiency developing GUI applications within a Windows environment
• Visual Studio 2017/2019
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Ability to work independently, triage issues and prioritize tasks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
• Experience using SQL Server
• XML, FTP
• Experience using Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Android/iOS/Microsoft app development.
• UWP
