Canine Care Technician / Kennel Technician

Full-Time/Part time | K9s Place | Melbourne, FL

K9s Place is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our Canine Care Team. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to the health and safety of every dog in our care.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect kennels and play yards

Feed, water, and care for boarding and daycare dogs

Supervise daycare playgroups

Safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes

Monitor dogs for changes in health or behavior

Laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, and general facility cleaning

Work efficiently with your team to keep the facility running smoothly

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

Reliable transportation

Weekend and holiday availability required

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout your shift

Previous animal care experience is a plus but not required
