****Cannabis Connection, Inc. is growing! We are looking for team members to join our new location in West Springfield. The training for this role will take place in our Westfield location.
Position Summary
The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant cannabis inventory, which includes flower as well as a variety of cannabis infused products. This position requires a high attention to detail and compliance mindset in order to ensure the Company is meeting all requirements under state law.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant cannabis inventory
- Responsible for overseeing internal and external transactions, including physical and electronic transfer of product between departments and for sale
- Complete required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Google Sheets/MS Excel, Dutchie and Metrc in order to maintain compliance
- Completes periodic audits for internal and state compliance purposes
- Monitor and track quality control of incoming/outgoing product and packaging
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma required or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in an inventory or compliance role required; cannabis industry experience highly valued
- High attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Proficient in Windows operating system, Google Workspace & Microsoft Office products,
- Expert knowledge of state cannabis regulations
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours
- Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, crouch in order to access product
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to push/pull carts up to 100 – 200lbs
- Visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print
- Manual dexterity needed for data entry
Workplace Environment
- Consistent moderate background noise level due to HVAC
- Vault is kept at a lower temperature than typical office or retail environments
- Generally working in confined vault space without natural light

Hourly rate for this position is $17/hr.
