    Our client, an industry leading cannabis company, is seeking an experienced, dedicated and passionate processing and extraction Operations Manager to join their team near Mendocino County.

    The Operations Manager will oversee all production, quality assurance, operations, training, safety awareness and personnel at their cannabis extraction facility. 

    Most importantly, the Operations Manager will be a team-player and a respectful collaborator, always using their position to grow the company through the empowerment and development of others.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the operations and management of a large-scale ethanol extraction and manufacturing facility
    • Create Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure adherence to  GMP standards
    • Consistently achieve repeatable results producing high quality end use products, including cannabis oils, distillates and isolates
    • Ensue regulatory compliance, including safety, environmental and document control requirements.
    • General HR functions, including conflict resolution, staffing, on-boarding and training
    • Create a culture of engagement and high-performance throughout the facility
    • Ensuring equipment reliability throughout production process, scheduling maintenance to ensure minimal down time 
    • Supports the organization by ensuring operations efficiency by implementing and constantly improving cost reduction strategies.

    SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Highly skilled and experienced in botanical extractions (Ethanol)
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field 
    • Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effective and efficient meeting.
    • Exposure to a fast pace/deadline related environment is preferred.
    • Knowledge of management and organizational concepts, principles, and techniques with demonstrated professional assertiveness.
    • Experience complying with GMP standards
    • Excellent critical thinking skills to be able to troubleshoot issues with the processes and instrumentation.
    • Strong math and computer skills, including ability to create and interpret data.

    COMPENSATION: $125-150K plus benefits
