    Our client, a top Cannabis Cultivator in Humboldt County, is seeking a Director of Sales, who will be responsible for representing the company’s high level product and brand and will "own" the entire sales division for all of California.

    The Director of Sales position will be responsible for the growth of the company’s business by finding, attracting, and then signing large distribution clients to expand the company’s market share in the cannabis wholesale and packaged goods, as well as developing and then executing the sales strategy.

    ** To be considered, you must be a proven sales leader with the ability to work independently with little oversight, and have a superior track record as a Sales Manager or Director, with a strong book of business and marketing acumen.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain key customer relationships, and develop and implement creative marketing strategies for expanding customer base throughout California.
    •  Heavy travel required to develop and maintain key relationships.
    • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, and compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
    • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the various product lines, as well as continuously analyzing industry trends and competition.
    • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
    • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
    • Position can be remote within the state of CA but must be willing to travel

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must have cannabis industry wholesale sales experience and an established book of business.
    • Knowledge of cannabis distribution channels.
    • Must embrace and share a passion for high-quality and hand-crafted cannabis flower, and accurately represent brand to potential customers and key clients
    • Experience creating and operating a pipeline management system.
    • Recent experience operating in an early stage company, with a demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats, respond to evolving demands and react to a constantly changing marketplace.
    • 5+ years experience in sales and 3+ years experience in cannabis
    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a strong executive presence.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
