Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for their cannabis cultivation operation located in Arizona, to lead by example and own the responsibility for keeping the facility in excellent working order.

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and coordinate all activities for facility maintenance, including machinery installation, performing preventative and predictive maintenance on the grounds, machinery and systems upkeep in addition to guiding engineering, construction and ancillary activities.

This position will perform maintenance on their greenhouse cultivation facility, requiring someone who understands the big picture of the building needs as it pertains to the operational efficiency, and process improvements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, service, dismantle, and troubleshoot all types of production machinery in addition to other facility equipment.
• Determine the proper methods required to dismantle and repair defective or worn out parts, utilizing schematics, diagnostics and manuals.
• Inspect existing equipment and recommend the appropriate corrective action required.
• Ensure company grounds and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance to company, security and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Troubleshoot the issues causing the breakdown on machines or equipment.
• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot mechanical and industrial electrical equipment
• Perform all aspects of general electrical installations including circuit boards, switch panels, wiring, lighting, and switches
• Work closely with fellow employees, vendors, managers, assistants, and associates
• Prioritize, plan, schedule and perform daily repairs on equipment, systems, machinery and vehicles
• Coordinating and conducting greenhouse maintenance, and eliminating safety related issues
• Maintenance and repair of other building systems including air compressors, vacuum pumps and HVAC systems.
• Ability to learn to operate machine controls in order to repair/troubleshoot the production equipment

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Commercial greenhouse cultivation maintenance experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent job experience preferred
• 5+ yrs experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Manager of manufacturing or agriculture facility
• Strong communication, leadership and analytical skills required
• Available to work holidays and on a rotating schedule
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test/screening, and AZ background check.
• Experience with HVAC systems and generators a plus

COMPENSATION: $90-100k plus benefits
