Our client a top financial media platform focused on the Cannabis Industry is seeking a Director of Speaker Relations to add to their Events Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in speaker management, agenda creation, content strategy/execution. They will assist in developing and directing conference content and program schedules for all future events as well as coordinating with event partners and organizing media coverage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Researching content (both in terms of potential speakers and topics)
• Asking big name speakers to speak at events on a small budget
• Building relationships with key industry players
• Designing compelling agendas
• Guiding content strategy to create buzz about the conference
• Assisting the events team in creating unique on-site experiences and "wow" factors
• Creates "Run of Show" and provide all Final media & content to crew/personnel

Education and Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Related experience
• Experience working in FinTech environments
• Cannabis Industry a Plus
• Experience connecting with and booking high profile speakers
• Event Management and Event Planning experience

 Compensation: Based on Experience

This is a remote opportunity and travel will be required.
