    Our client, a premier cannabis company with a number of popular products, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for product transfer from company and development of robust manufacturing process on commercial equipment at the geo-partner’s facility.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for technical goals and milestones are built into the project plans provided and alignment of company goals in each state.
    • You will be responsible for facilitating and contributing to creating future co-manufacturing and co-packing strategies to meet evolving market needs
    • Will Collaborate internally with the following teams-  QA, Engineering/Design, Operations, Regulatory/Compliance, Marketing, R&D
    • Developing critical quality parameters and attributes, scale up reports, and final product specific technical documentation.
    • Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in scale up, and optimization of company products in geo-expansion states.
    • Technical mentorship, orientation and training for the external geo-expansion operations team on new manufacturing processes, equipment operation etc.
    • Transfer from upstream and downstream operations to manufacturing. Performing experiments for scale up and process optimization after scale-up.
    • Developing relationships with cannabis testing labs in the geo-expansion state.
    • Offers solutions to get product and product back within specified range.
    • Leading quality deviation investigations to identify root causes and define corrective and preventive actions as related to product quality, manufacturing processes, and external testing protocols.
    • Reviewing SOPs, batch records, and GMP-related documents such as material specifications, deviation reports, on a monthly basis.

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other Technical Degree required
    • 7+ years experience in operations for food or beverage manufacturing company
    • Knowledge of co-packing and co-manufacturing operations and management
    • Project management and financial/budgeting
    • Knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment
    • Willing to travel to manufacturing sites across the country

    Compensation: $110k-$120k plus commission and benefits
