    Our client, a national leader for cultivation supplies serves cultivation logistics in 16 states, D.C., Canada, and Puerto Rico and is seeking to hire immediately an experienced Account Manager to support the sales operations team.

    The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service; communicate, and coordinate with other departments to resolve tasks. They will be the first point-of-contact for general customer inquiries (e.g., pricing, products, scheduling etc) as well as build and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers by providing prompt and accurate service; promote customer loyalty.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Process and follow-up on orders, applications, samples, quotes, and requests from customers and prospective customers
    • Anticipate and assist customer needs and questions, problem solving
    • Responding promptly to all inquiries by telephone, electronically, and/or in person
    • Cross-selling and educating customer regarding any product or service questions
    • Verify purchases orders against invoices and manages discrepancies.
    • Manage purchases orders, enter invoices for payment, manage shortages/overages on vendor shipments.
    • Manage Purchase Order Discrepancies Inventory within the system and with vendors.
    • Contact vendors regarding PO discrepancies.
    • Manage open purchase orders with vendors by establishing ETA’s.
    • Manage back order reporting and actions associated with past due items.
    • Other duties as assigned and determined by business needs.

    Education and Required Skills:

    • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent years of education and relatable experience required
    • Must have at least 2-3+ years of B2B customer service and/or work experience.
    • Good writing and communication skills, be resourceful and be a team player. Must be punctual, responsive & detail-oriented.
    • Adaptability - demonstrates flexibility with change.
    • Organization – effectively manages time and the workspace. Balances conflicting priorities to manage workflow, ensure completion of essential projects and meets critical deadlines.
    • Proactive Anticipation of Needs – addresses problems and acts to prevent them. Utilizes analytical skills and broad understanding of the business to effectively interpret needs.
    • Communication – listens to understand the needs; speaks with confidence using clear and concise language, produces well thought-out professional correspondence that is free from grammatical and spelling errors.
    • Service Oriented – interacts professionally with leaders, clients, vendors and team members. Promptly responds to requests with accuracy and a courteous demeanor.
    • Team Player – works as a competent member of the team, willing to provide back-up support for others.
    • Computer/Technical Savvy – is proficient in using standard office equipment and Microsoft Suite. Demonstrates advanced proficiency by adapting to new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills.
    • Judgment – exhibits sound judgment and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction. Swiftly refers problems/issues to the appropriate person when necessary.
    • Initiative – works effectively while asking for direction when needed.

    Compensation: Depending on Experience plus bonus and benefits
