Our client, a vertically integrated company in the cannabis industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chef and Edibles Manager for their newly opened Costa Mesa based production facility.

The Chef will be in charge of producing a variety of Cannabis infused edibles, which include chocolates, gummy's and baked products. In addition, the Chef will be expected to minimize product loss through careful handling, while meeting deadlines, and remaining highly productive as the sole Chef of the company.

As a Cannabis Chef, you take your craft seriously, pride yourself on quality results and have an eye for detail with the ability to produce fine quality Cannabis infused edibles that are delicious, precise, and visually appealing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce all Cannabis infused edible products for the company, using specialized equipment and techniques
• Responsible for procuring all necessary raw materials
• Responsible for creating a wide variety of edible cannabis products including gummies, chocolates etc.
• Initially responsible as sole Head Chef, with the ability to build your own team over time as necessary
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory record
• Utilizing specialized equipment to produce Cannabis infused edibles
• Maintain proper stock levels of all products
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

Education and Requirements:

• Degree relating to Culinary Arts is preferred
• 2+ years experience in the Culinary industry
• Cannabis experience preferred but not required
• Cannabis knowledge required
• Strong work ethic, superior time management skills and the ability to multitask are vital
• Strong math skills
• Management skills
• Creative with a great palate for flavors
• Must have the ability to pass a stringent CA Cannabis background check

Compensation: $50-$65k plus benefits
