Our client, a premier cannabis company with a number of popular products, is searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for completing payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, in an accurate, efficient manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting Accounts Receivables bank and cash reconciliations
• Reconciling vendor statements
• Managing all correspondence with vendors
• Posting all vendor invoices
• Managing vendor invoice approval process
• Preparing and processing weekly check runs
• Reconciling prepaid and accrual accounts
• Posting AP accruals
• Managing credit cards (approvals, GL coding, and posting)
• Reconciling employee garnishments
• Assisting in posting G/L adjustments for payroll
• Filing annual 1099 and property taxes
• Building the departments' payment process framework

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates in Accounting/Finance is required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
• 2-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel)
• Good work history a MUST!

Compensation: $75-$85k plus benefits
