Help Desk / Desktop Support Engineer
Amidst the pandemic we are still looking to hire a full-time permanent Help Desk/ Desktop Support Engineer. Mid-sized financial services asset management firm needs a Support Engineer to provide end user support, assist with network and systems administration, field Help Desk calls, and as needed train new users on in-house software applications. This role will be a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious Help Desk Analyst, IT Support Specialist, or Technical Support Engineer who is interested in working their way into systems administration. Looking for individuals with a background in technical support and a passion for technology. You will have a chance to learn new skill on the job in the following areas: Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Exchange, and cloud based platforms. Help Desk responsibilities will be shared with the team so on call duties will be limited. Need to have great problem solving skills and an understanding of the value of client service. Requirements
1-2+ years of professional experience in a Help Desk role or a Desktop Support position.
Experience providing hardware/ software support in a Windows networking environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience using Help Desk ticketing systems.
Microsoft Office support: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to Office 365
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.

** Initial interview will be done by phone, and final interview via Zoom Video. Position is intended to be in-office, but will begin as a remote role due to the current environment.
