    HVAC Project Manager:

    Location: Sterling, VA 

    Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating project labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor scopes, and overall project duration for complex commercial projects, which are usually ground-up multi-family projects that typically fall in the $1 million to $10 million range. These projects generally last 6-12 months, and you may have anywhere from 3 to 8 projects working at once. This is a fast-growing market with lots of volume, and there may be opportunities to bring on more resources to help you as we grow.

     

    Qualifications:

    6+ years in HVAC industry

    2-4+ years in a HVAC Project Manager position or similar

    Experience managing projects in the Millions

    Ideally someone with VRF/ VRV experience

    Procore is ideal

    Compensation:

    Salary is negotiable at this time as we assess the market. (Based on Experience)

    In support of the above goals, some of your specific tasks will include:

     

    • Confidently manage multiple commercial HVAC projects at one time – from beginning to end.
    • Develop project schedules, coordinate AMSI employees, subcontractors, and suppliers on each project. Assure that all materials, equipment, and supplies for the project are ordered and received on time.
    • Work seamlessly with your AMSI team of estimators, field operations, project coordinator, and AMSI’s Safety Director to meet customer requirements.
    • Plan, coordinate and manage (in cooperation with field operations) all facets of the project to deliver it on time and within budget.
    • Lead by example and be a liaison that communicates to all internal and external parties involved on the project.
    • · Effectively use Procore (our project management software) to create, issue, and maintain job documentation – budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change orders, progress billings, etc.
    • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key owners, developers, and general contractors, and create strong partnerships with select engineers and vendors.
