    Summary:

    • This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the key competencies and processes required to meet the testing needs of the business including equipment, test setup, testing processes, data acquisition, reporting processes, and root cause analysis of test-related failures

    Qualifications:

    • BS/MS in Electronic Engineering
    • Knowledgeable in performing integration, system and regression level tests and evaluation as well as documentation of test results, excellent knowledge of Networking and/or Telecommunication systems
    • Excellent working knowledge with analytical test equipment (signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope) and automated test routines to program test equipment
    • Excellent experience in Software Engineering including strong working knowledge of LabView test development software and VB, Hardware Engineering experience including IEEE488 rack and stack, JTAG, boundary scan, etc.
    • Experience with the design and test of Analog/RF circuits/Digital circuits, individual transistors, and SRAMs
    • Experience and/or strong familiarity with ICT and Flying Probe test strategies
    • Must be self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task requiring minimum supervision to solve day-to-day manufacturing test related issues and provide solutions, guidance, and seek closure of outstanding issues with a strong sense of urgency

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide test engineering leadership and work collaboratively with customers and co-workers to analyze, define, propose, and develop the most effective test strategy and plans for each specific customer project
    • Take responsibility for the production, and approval, of all testing deliverables and achievement of project testing milestones
    • § Perform necessary analysis to ensure that any risks associated with the approved test strategies are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to both the customers and internal team
    • Manage all risks associated with test processes and take preventative action if a risk becomes unacceptable
    • Provide authoritative leadership including advice and guidance to customers and co-workers on all aspects of testing, including training for testers and other developers when appropriate
    • Plan system and acceptance tests, and coordinate the execution of these plans including defining, training, and leading the testing process definition and documentation
    • Perform a variety of test-related tasks including defining test procedures and equipment for packaged and probe-card based tests, debugging the test setup and software, and collecting, analyzing, organizing and compiling test data
    • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for existing test processes and lead in their implementation
