  • Responsibilities

    Pay: $17.25/hr. including shift differential

    2nd Shift: Mon-Thu - 2pm to 12am

    Requirements:

    • HS Diploma or GED
    • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in printing production
    • Knowledge and experience with gluing systems and glue detection systems
    • Hand Dexterity and Attention to Detail are a must
    • Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 lbs is required
    • Ability to remain sitting for long periods of time
    • Ability to see, hear, count, measure, read, and follow verbal directions in English
    • Ability to differentiate colors, horizonal, and vertical positions
    • Ability to perform repetitive upper body motions

    Job Functions:

    • Set up press. Use appropriate dies, inks and other materials as specified by the order. Load rolls of stock on the press.
    • Operate press. Make press adjustments as needed to ensure print consistency, quality and registration. Verify proper color shades, die cuts, etc. Ensure items are varnished, glued, and/or folded as needed.
    • Mount printing plates properly on cylinders.
    • Adjust and mix inks per job requirement.
    • Obtain approval of product before press run. Run job at pre-determined run speed. Maintain waste levels within set parameters. Unload product at end of line.
    • Coordinate press crew efforts with other operators. Train other workers as instructed.
    • Maintain safe, clean workstation. Place waste in appropriate containers.
    • Maintains clean work area and supports procedures and practices dedicated to ensuring products meet safety requirements, customer required standards and regulatory standards.
    • Complete all forms. Maintain records, files, and/or logs as required.
