Pay: $17.25/hr. including shift differential
2nd Shift: Mon-Thu - 2pm to 12am
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in printing production
- Knowledge and experience with gluing systems and glue detection systems
- Hand Dexterity and Attention to Detail are a must
- Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 lbs is required
- Ability to remain sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to see, hear, count, measure, read, and follow verbal directions in English
- Ability to differentiate colors, horizonal, and vertical positions
- Ability to perform repetitive upper body motions
Job Functions:
- Set up press. Use appropriate dies, inks and other materials as specified by the order. Load rolls of stock on the press.
- Operate press. Make press adjustments as needed to ensure print consistency, quality and registration. Verify proper color shades, die cuts, etc. Ensure items are varnished, glued, and/or folded as needed.
- Mount printing plates properly on cylinders.
- Adjust and mix inks per job requirement.
- Obtain approval of product before press run. Run job at pre-determined run speed. Maintain waste levels within set parameters. Unload product at end of line.
- Coordinate press crew efforts with other operators. Train other workers as instructed.
- Maintain safe, clean workstation. Place waste in appropriate containers.
- Maintains clean work area and supports procedures and practices dedicated to ensuring products meet safety requirements, customer required standards and regulatory standards.
- Complete all forms. Maintain records, files, and/or logs as required.
