    The PROJECT MANAGER OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT is responsible for implementing projects and process improvement initiatives throughout the Business Development department and assists the team with administrative tasks and project management. The position also involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in executive meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. This individual will lead the development of new projects and processes and drives continuous improvement to existing manual and automated processes. Duties include engagement in project-based work (i.e. running reports, data analysis, resource management, organizing results into concise data driven reports), and maintaining/implementing office systems. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as a critical resource to promote the use of Lean and problem-solving tools throughout the department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports process development of new processes, and continuous improvement to existing manual and automated processes
    • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
    • Project implementation/training of staff members
    • Organizing, attending and participating in executive meetings.
    • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
    • Root cause analysis and problem-solving requiring data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting.
    • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
    • Perform weekly Pipelines Reviews to assure data integrity and accuracy
    • Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    • Participates with the business development team and maintain schedules and timelines for all assigned initiatives.
    • Undertaking project tasks as required.
    • Developing project strategies accompanied by an execution plan.
    • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
    • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
    • Responsible for all aspects of data entry and report generation for the department’s CRM system (SalesForce). Reviews and organize data garnered into concise reports.
    • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point presentations.
    • Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.
    • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
    • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
    • Assist with travel and event planning for the business development department
    • Understand Cano’s business model to effectively improve the company’s growth structure
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of recent process/project management experience
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and be able to type quickly and accurately
    • Salesforce experience preferred
    • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
    • Ability to easily navigate interdepartmental sources of data to output meaningful information
    • Must have excellent organizational and planning skills to produce a large quantity of work under tight constraints
