JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dynamic Sales/Solution engineer professional to join our go-to-market team, as part of our cutting edge 5G Fronthaul and Backhaul Ethernet transport products. This position requires a person with a solid knowledge of mobility infrastructure, functionality, and deployment concepts, with practical pre-sales experience, who can demonstrate expertise in supporting the development of sales opportunities and customer/partner relationships.   

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full life cycle of the sales and business development of our 5G solution.

• Act as the lead customer-facing consultative technical resource to provide support to the sales team and partners to qualify, document and lead the customer technical solution offering.
• Provide a technical leadership role in the understanding, qualification and crafting customer proposals. 
• Lead the delivery of technical customer presentations of the company’s Anyhaul -TSN solutions.
• Work closely with Canoga internal teams including PLM, Product Marketing, Support, BD and Sales.  
• Provide regular product updates to Canoga’s certified partners.
• Lead and leverage internal technical resources to deliver successful pilots, demos, POCs, as well as on-going contribution in strategic account management.
• Clearly understand the Canoga product -line, features differentiation and effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high and low-level diagrams.
• Develop with the assistance of internal resources Technical Marketing presentations and solution briefs.
• Create professional documents & presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Lead the technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ’s.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have experience in or knowledge of:

• Seven-plus years of professional Sales/Solution engineering or Technical Marketing experience with a network equipment vendor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff on a variety of advanced topics in a clear and concise manner.
• Good understanding of 4G/5G concepts, architecture and functionality. 
• Experience with Mobile Network Operators.
• Experience with Network configuration automation.
• Knowledge and experience with Virtualization, Public and Hybrid clouds (AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM).
• Capacity to function in a fast paced, dynamic, customer-facing environment.

WHAT WOULD BE USEFUL

It would be useful and advantageous for the candidate to have experience in or knowledge of:

• Technical customer facing experience from 4G/5G solution vendor.
• Experienced sales or operations of public or private 4G/5G 
• Relationships with MNO, Industrial and Enterprise accounts
• Additional written and spoken languages

MUST HAVE

The successful candidate must have:

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Graduate degree is a plus.
