POSITION: Operations Manager
FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Full Time
LOCATION: Pacoima, CA
SCHEDULE: 40hrs M-F
PAY RANGE: $85k - $120k depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team.
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee production, supply chain management, and maintenance.
You will report directly to the General Manager and will play a critical role in our company's success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee production, supply chain management, and maintenance.
Establish clear goals and objectives using the SMART approach and provide guidance to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Develop a well-defined roadmap for the career advancement of team members.
Cultivate a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and effectively address conflicts within the team.
Oversee staff selection, performance management, development, and training processes to ensure team members possess the necessary competencies and capabilities to achieve business goals and meet expectations.
Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, while handling disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.
Production Management
· Own and advocate for a work environment that prioritizes safety and well-being by implementing, upholding, and aligning company policies and 5S practices in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations for environmental, health, and safety.
· Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track production goals and evaluate performance.
· Lead the development and execution of production plans, schedules, and workflows to maximize productivity and meet customer requirements.
· Oversee the progress of production, identify obstacles, and take necessary measures to ensure efficient operations.
· Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures aimed at enhancing inventory turnover and reducing costs.
· Collaborate closely with Process Engineering and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
. Use lean manufacturing principles to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity.
.3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing tools, including value stream mapping, KPIs, Kanban, OEE, 5S, standard work, and the visual factory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in material science, chemical engineering, supply chain management, or other related discipline with MBA degree being a plus.
· Minimum of 3 years manufacturing management, equipment, production, and supply chain experience.
· Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills.
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, 9100.
· Strong EHS background.
· Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks.
· Experience in a make-to-order inventory environment is beneficial.
· Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of management and staff.
· Analytical mindset, proficient in data collection and decision-making based on data analysis.
· Proficient in inventory reporting systems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, database management tools, and ERP systems
· Experience in chemical manufacturing is a desirable asset
· 5S, lean, six sigma, project management certifications are desirable.
· Fluent in English, with the ability to speak Spanish and/or Mandarin being a plus.
· Demonstrated skill in delivering information in a clear and impactful manner to diverse audiences, including management, customers, and employees.
