Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II (Hybrid)
Contract: 6/19/2023 (12 months + possibility temp to perm based on performance)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Pay: $35.30-$45.08
Job Description:
Develops capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of extruded components into production.
Key Responsibilities
\- Develop robust extrusion processes using industry standard methods
\- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure alignment of design, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
\- Prototype new components and provide samples to team for performance testing.
\- Execute project deliverables from initial sample components through design verification, process validation, and ultimately commercial transfer.
\- Contribute to technical reports, validations, and qualifications by capturing experimental results.
\- Write validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
\- Gather, analyze, and provide technical data for technical reviews.
\- Oversee development builds associated with the project using special work requests.
\- Assist in developing qualified tooling and production equipment.
\- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
\- Bachelors in Engineering (ideally Mechanical, Chemical, or Material Science)
\- 2-5 years of engineering experience in process development or manufacturing
\- Demonstrated ability to execute and follow through on project responsibilities
\- Ability to work well within a strong team environment
