JOB PURPOSE

Define the strategy for engineering the ADAS product and Software requirements to enable implementation of features into the system. Create the feature requirements and associated use cases for the ADAS product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create the details of the features from high level descriptions on the roadmap to capture feature level requirements and associated use cases
• Responsible to define the systems architecture, features, requirements and use cases
• Responsible for defining the operational design domain for the ADAS system
• Responsible for safety engineering of the ADAS system
• Work with the test and validation team to verify functional operation to technical specification and update the requirements as necessary from test feedback
• Ensure the input into the development process is updated as issues are found during each testing phase
• Effectively communicate with the rest of the organization when issues or failures arise

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years managerial level experience
• High level of oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal effectiveness and escalate issues to management in a timely manner
• Experience in systems engineering and requirements development
• Knowledge/Experience in safety engineering processes like SOTIF & functional safety
• Professional experience in active safety systems/ADAS and/or AVs
• Demonstrated performance in a position requiring engineering technical excellence

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Automotive OEM experience plus Tier-1 supplier interactions
