    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Supports the entire investor relations value chain, including, but not limited to, development of earnings releases, call scripts, investor presentations, SEC filings, investor communications and other ad-hoc tasks as needed  
    • Develops partnerships with key internal staff to understand the metrics which contribute to quarterly results  
    • Supports the analysis and presentation of feedback to management and the Board of Directors of investors' perceptions, sell-side ratings, stock performance and periodic ownership analysis  
    • Collaborates with the VP, IR on key messaging, communications, and media strategy; ability to create robust content which conveys the company's strategic vision in a consistent, concise and clear manner  
    • Strong brand ambassador who is comfortable speaking with senior-level representatives from institutional investment firms and can discreetly disseminate information to the public while complying with all securities laws and regulations  
    • Supports execution of a shareholder targeting program with the objective to increase awareness and constructive views of the company  
    • Coordinates IR events, such as non-deal road shows, investor conferences, 1x1 meetings and analyst days  
    • Closely monitors peer activity and conducts relevant analysis  
    • Manages the Company's external website; identifies opportunities to enhance site by recommending content that helps to clearly disseminate information to shareholders and analysts; updates periodically following material events  
    • Minimal overnight travel expected, but possible during special events that require additional support  
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

      

    EXPERIENCE 

    • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline required (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics)  
    • MBA preferred  
    • Experience in an investor relations or corporate communications role with a public company is a plus 
    • Exceptional financial and investment analysis skills; solid understanding of the models and valuation techniques employed by equity and high-yield research analysts is a plus  
    • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statements  
    • Solid understanding of market fundamentals and ability to apply intuitive perspective to market events  
    • Solid command of oil and gas fundamentals and economic metrics that influence sector investment decisions  
    • Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and financial analytical and market surveillance information systems, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Eikon  
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills  
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities  
    • Ability to demonstrate poise, tact, diplomacy, discretion, good judgment, and business acumen  
    • Relationship-building skills and ability to develop and cultivate partnerships with key internal staff and external constituents  
    • Proven ability to develop abstract concepts for investor presentations
