JOB PURPOSE

Canoo's In House Manufacturing Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Surfacing technician. The primary responsibility of this role is to help bring designs into reality by achieving high quality surface finishes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Surfacing, highlighting, color sanding, buffing, metal finishing of components
• Geared towards the production and modification of show vehicles and support properties

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience surfacing
• Experience in preparing of molds and forms
• Experience in highlighting
• Skilled in surfacing foams, plastics, metals, and composites
• Experienced in panel gapping
• Paint prep experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with bondo squeezing parts
• Hard modeling experience
• Small part surfacing and prep experience
• Metal finishing experience
