    RESPONSIBILITIES  

    • Program 3+2 and 5-axis CNC Milling Machines for the production of automotive clay models 
    • Understand and implement the latest tooling and programming techniques in Autodesk PowerMill 
    • Use Autodesk Fusion360 or PowerShape design and develop milling fixtures and model armatures 
    • Work closely with Designers, Clay Modelers and Fabricators to accurately produce unique products in an accelerated timeframe 
    • Maintain project timing and work well under heavy deadline pressure 
    • Assist in job planning, material ordering and maintaining studio inventory 
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace 
    • Continued learning and growth

     

    EXPERIENCE 

    • Experience with CAM Programming in Autodesk PowerMill, 5+ years preferred 
    • 3+ years CAD experience is required in Autodesk Fusion 360 or PowerShape 
    • CNC set up experience preferred 
    • Experience in a design studio environment is a bonus 
    • Ability to work in a team environment and a willingness to teach others 
    • Ability to follow detailed drawings, rough sketches, or verbal instruction to execute tasks at a high level 
    • Possess critical thinking skills to devise solutions to new problems 
    • CAD skills are a bonus as well as the ability to develop machining fixtures
