JOB PURPOSE

The Body Development Engineer will work closely with the department manager to deliver the complete product development status and lead the developmental testing. An ideal candidate will be able to think creatively, work independently, and coordinate issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• BoM management and control
• Issue documentation and resolution tracking
• Manage budget rollup, submissions, and planning
• Component and sub-assemblies test planning and execution
• 3D modeling of BiW parts and 2D drawing creation
• Support testing, prototype build, and launch activities
• Track and report part design status from design initiation through tooling kickoff

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• 2-3 years BiW experience
• 2-3 years of Catia v5 or v6
• 2-3 years of Excel and MS Project
• 2 years of program management
• A drive and willingness to learn with strong professionalism
• Detail-oriented, quality and precision-focused
• Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Jira and Oracle
