    JOB PURPOSE

    The HR Data Analyst Intern is a key member of the HR team, providing support to Human Resources and Finance department. This position involves maintaining our headcount models, which track active and future resources. It is a critical function of our organization to model the resources we have currently and the resources we need, and headcount data is an integral piece of that function.

    This is a 3 month paid internship.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with HR tools to generate automated reports tracking Canoo employees & contractors
    • Work with HR & Finance business partners to update headcount models
    • Prepare executive presentations on status of hiring and active headcount
    • Update weekly headcount files with employee changes
    • Prepare weekly headcount presentations for senior executives
    • Provide weekly/monthly reporting to leadership on hiring vs plan
    • Assist recruiting in maintaining catalog of role postings & standardize role templates

    WHO WE WANT

      • Enrolled in college or university with plans to complete bachelor's degree
    • Excel & PowerPoint experience
    • Someone who is willing (and excited) to roll up their sleeves to dig through data, build ground up excel models, do the work
    • Comfortable interacting with people of various backgrounds and levels – from first-year analysts to managers and department leaders
    • Detail-oriented and data-driven
    • Resourceful and can figure out solutions where there may not be clear-cut systems or established methodologies
    • Desire to evaluate and improve processes

    REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS

    • Ability to facilitate remote work
    • Perform work and attend meetings during the standard working day in California (Pacific) time and Texas (Central) time
